How Pricing Works

Each cutting board is handmade to order, so pricing is based on the size and materials used rather than a one-size-fits-all rate. My standard pricing is $0.50 per cubic inch of finished board.

For example, an 11" × 15" × 1.25" cutting board comes out to right around $100.

I use a mix of high-quality hardwoods, including maple, walnut, purpleheart, cherry, and pecan (when available). Wood selection, grain patterns, and layout are all part of the design process, and I’m happy to help you choose a combination that fits your kitchen and your style.

Every board includes:

  • A non-slip mat for added stability while you work

  • A tin of my homemade board butter, made from food-safe mineral oil and beeswax

You can find full instructions on how to use and maintain your board on the “How to Care for Your Board” page.

Custom features—such as juice grooves, handles, or oversized dimensions—do add to the cost. We’ll talk through those details together when you place your order so there are no surprises.

My goal is to create a board that fits your space, your cooking style, and your vision—something you’ll enjoy using for years to come.
